Camping site: Racova Valley and Curături Valley.
The starting point is the center of the Greci commune on the local road heading SSE towards the communal pasture. This trail can also be used during the winter as it lacks difficult sections. The scenery offered by this trail differs according to the side chosen by the tourist. On the Western side there is a broad panorama above the Greci depression and the rocky and steppe-like areas of Călcata, Cetatea, Moroianu. On the Eastern side one can notice an enclosed panorama, a typical forest with trees of all ages, dead wood attracting woodpeckers, climbing plants in the valleys and the flora specific to the diverse forests in Dobrogea.
The most important species one can find on this trail are: plants – thyme (Thymus zigioides), Silene compacta, Iris sintenisii, Sempervivum ruthenicum; species of insects protected in Europe (Lycaena dispar, Panaxia quadripunctaria); reptiles – smooth snake (Coronella austriaca), Aesculapian Snake (Elaphe longissima), but also internationally protected bird species – Lesser Spotted Eagle (Aquila pomarina), Black Kite (Milvus migrans), European Honey Buzzard (Pernis apivorus), Red-footed Falcon (Falco vespertinus).
